2493 Production Start

Finally an analog QUANTEC again.

Even today, many users rave over the wonderful warm sound of the QRS and QRS/XL AD/DA converters. Driven from our long-term customer base, we've once again put our shoulders to the wheel to pay for the next round of damn good 2493 AD/DA converters. Actually, we had some headroom factured in for analog component fluctuations and electromagnetic interference. No way: our 3 prototypes behaved exactly as the SPICE analysis performed years ago. So we were able to increase our conservatively published S/N estimates from 114 to 121 dB; delightful to both us and our customers. "Wer ko, der ko" is a respectful colloquialism here in Bavaria - there's nothing like an old hand (verbatim: "who can do ought pull it through").
